Grassroots (U4-U11)

Our Grassroots Program introduces young players to soccer in a fun, inclusive, and development-focused environment. Following Canada Soccer Grassroots Standards, this program is designed to give every child the opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy the game regardless of previous experience or ability. Players learn the fundamentals of soccer through age-appropriate training, small-sided games, and festival-style competition that emphasizes participation, creativity, and enjoyment. With a focus on physical literacy, ball skills, teamwork, and confidence-building, the Grassroots Program helps players develop a strong foundation both on and off the field.

For the upcoming season, we are looking for players for the following age groups:

• Forza Grassroots U11 (2015/2016)
• Forza Grassroots U9 (2017/2018)
• Forza Grassroots U7 (2019/2020)
• Forza Grassroots U5 (2021/2022)

In alignment with Canada Soccer Grassroots Standards, our Grassroots Program does not host formal tryouts. The program welcomes all skill levels and offers open registration for families. Throughout the season, coaches observe players in training and games to support their development and ensure they are placed in the environment that best suits their growth. Based on progress, attitude, effort, and overall readiness, movement between the Grassroots (U9/U11) and Club Program (U8-U11) may occur during the season, allowing each child to learn and develop at a pace that’s right for them.
